My Multiplication Learning

My Multiplication goal

I am learning to solve multiplication problems by using repeated addition and arrays.

Success Criteria

·       I can form sets of equal numbers.

·       I can count forwards in groups of equal numbers.

·       I can count back in groups of equal numbers.

·       I can recognise the connection between repeated addition and multiplication

In The Beginning Art

This is my In The Beginning art.  My guardian was Tane. Tane is the Guardian of the forest.  I chose him because he was strong and the one who pushed his parents apart.

My Reading Reflection

I have been learning to summarise the main ides in the fiction text. We used a story pyramid to help us summarise Grandads dinosour. I found this easy: my next step is to write and type more stories more confidently.

This is my fractions goal.

Stage 4

I am learning to find halves, quarters, fifths and thirds of sets and shapes.

I know that I can do this when:

I can share sets or shapes into halves, quarters, fifths and thirds of sets and shapes.

I can write and read the symbol for each fraction

My Maths Reflection

I have been learning to find halves, quarters, thirds and fifths and shapes.  I am still learning to
do hard fractions like finding 6 sevenths. My next step is to keep working towards finding fraction of shapes.
